Christelle Cocquet arrived in Paris from Loire in 1995 with the firm intention of making her adolescent dream in makeup artistry her profession. After assisting several make-up artists and building a solid foundation, she met world renowned makeup artist, Tom Pecheux who offered her the opportunity to assist his team during fashion week . This encounter proved to be a life-changing event as she quickly became Tom’s first assistant. During this adventurous 3 year period, she was given the liberty to experiment and develop her own style.
Christelle’s technique brings emphasis to the eyes or the mouth combined with a discreet skin base that heightens and brings out the natural beauty of her subjects.
Christelle’s enthusiasm from her adolescence has not diminished, on the contrary she considers makeup to be limitless; it can mark a period in time or render that period timeless. Makeup offers infinite combinations and with this magical asset she highlights the beauty, charm and personality of each individual she works with.
Christelle was contracted to Albion Cosmetics in 2005 for 9 seasons as the brand’s International Artistic Director, she designed collections, season trends and created names based on colors she developed for lips, eyes, and nails.
