John Colver attended the London College of Fashion while under the tutelage of Lulu Kennedy of Fashion East. He then began his career assisting one of his influences, stylist Thom Murphy. After a few years, Colver began assisting Francesca Burns, the then Fashion Editor of i-D.
Colver went on to work closely with designer Christopher Shannon, where he styled, consulted, and casted the menswear shows. He also styled Heikki Salonen’s London Fashion Week show, and eventually began working at Diesel where he styled all of the women’s presentations. Beginning with the Fashion East show, Colver has also styled Marques’Almeida’s London Fashion Week shows as well.
