Ramsell Martinez is a Los Angeles-based hairstylist known for his signature approach to hair that feels artfully undone and naturally beautiful. A Southern California native who grew up in Orange County, Martinez discovered his passion for hair at a young age, learning techniques from a family friend before eventually pursuing it professionally — even at the cost of nearly not graduating high school, as he was attending night classes at Paul Mitchell Academy during his senior year. Despite initial skepticism from his father, Martinez pushed through the early hustle and built a reputation in the fashion world. He has collaborated with notable brands including AGOLDE, Reformation, Vince, and GOOP, and his editorial work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Behind the Blinds. Beyond hair, Martinez has also been involved in film and television, with credits including Thou Romeo: Mother of Pearl (2021) and Modern Romance (2016).
