About
Born and raised in Switzerland, Alexander Soltermann brings over 30 years of experience in the hair industry. His journey has taken him from Switzerland to Berlin and London, before settling in Paris in 2022.
After going freelance in London in 2011, he began building his own commercial and editorial portfolio while assisting some of the industry’s leading hairstylists on shoots and fashion shows across Europe.
Drawn to natural textures and effortless styling, Alexander’s approach is all about creating authentic, timeless and understated looks that celebrate the hair’s natural beauty and individuality.
His work spans editorial and commercial projects, with collaborations with photographers including Tim El Kaïm, Julien Martinez Leclerc, Davit Giorgadze, Mel Bles, Joshua Woods, Phil Engelhardt and Julia Noni. His clients and publications include Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Rabanne, Loewe, COS, Double, SSAW, Holiday Magazine, Mastermind, Harper’s Bazaar France and Re-Edition.
