Anna Collins was born and raised in Toronto where she trained at Canada’s National Ballet School as well as the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Within her dance education Anna studied and trained in Martha Graham technique, Bartenieff fundamentals, Skinner release technique, and Laban movement analysis. Following her graduation, she joined the staff of Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) where she taught in the professional program, associates program, and joined their Sharing Dance Program touring schools around the province. In the Sharing Dance program, Anna taught at long term care facilities working with residents with Parkinson’s disease. Aside from her teaching, Anna has collaborated with her sister Petra Collins on a number of creative projects for magazine’s such as Interview, CR Fashion Book, and Vogue. Anna uses her dance and modeling background to choreograph and communicate unique imagery with models such as Megan Fox, Kiko, and Olivia Rodrigo. She’s also had the opportunity to incorporate her dance practice as a model herself for companies such as Coach, Gucci, and Bvlgari.
