Kento Utsubo is a bicoastal hair and makeup artist, photographer, fashion editor, and casting director, originally from Kobe, Japan. After graduating from beauty school, he relocated to New York City, where he has spent over a decade establishing himself as a force in the global fashion industry. Utsubo has contributed to prestigious publications including i-D, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and WSJ, and has collaborated with brands such as Kate Spade, MCM, and Rag & Bone. He leads makeup and creative direction for major fashion shows and founded his own fashion brand, Kentina, in 2019. Utsubo also shares his expertise and passion through his YouTube channel, KENTO MAKEUP, inspiring aspiring artists around the world.
