Maranda Widlund is a bicoastal hairstylist based in both LA & NY, also a local to Europe. Maranda is celebrated for her skill in producing striking hairstyles that blend Scandinavian understated elegance with worldwide fashion influences. She has spent the first five years of her career in London perfecting and working on African American hair only.
Beyond her professional achievements, Maranda is admired for her dedication to mentorship. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of hairstylists, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and excel in their careers.
She has contributed to publications such as Document Journal, Lampoon, WSJ, Vogue, LoveWant, The Face and has collaborated with top photographers, including Alana O'Herlihy, Theo Wenner, Kenneth Cappello, Nathaniel Goldberg, Miguel Reveriego, Mario Kroes, and Olivia Malone.
